In every Institution, admission and result are the most important criteria for admitting of students. The institution wants to ensure every student comes into the institution through a verified process but along the line of doing this, there are a lot of difficulties students and staff of admission office usually face made us realize that there should be a need for a computer-assisted admission system which will be the best in processing students.
A computer-assisted admission system will help to extend institutions’ reach to geographically scattered students, reducing time in activities, centralized data handling and paperless admission with reduced manpower. Its other factors are cost-cutting, operational efficiency, consistent view of data and integration with other institutions. The main challenges are effectively synced internal and external operations in such a manner that the job can be finished within the time limit and integration with different agencies on an agreed-upon common data format.
However, the basic objective of designing and implementing an online student’s admission system is the development of a database computer program that will enable the Registrar and admission officers to efficiently, accurately and effectively process and coordinate the various students’ activities in the institution without much differences with little time.
In view of this, admission officers must prepare for a successful working relationship with online information processing and in addition, get their members of staff familiarized with the system for easy and effortless exercise that produces reliable output.
